If you do not use the transparent shoe covers the print on the label will rub off in the shoe due to the friction of the foot rubbing and feet sweating when wearing shoes. Apply the covers directly over the printed sticker. Therefore, this creates a barrier.  In addition it prevents the print from the label rubbing off.
